    Master of Sports Physiotherapy

    Andrew is an experienced Sports Physiotherapist. He is driven by a passion for assisting patients of all backgrounds in attaining their rehab and performance goals. He dedicates himself to uncovering the root cause of their concerns and equipping them with the necessary education and rehab tools for sustainable, long-term solutions.

    Andrew graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2009. He then went on to gain his title of APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist after completing his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2016. Andrew has worked for several years within the elite sporting sector. Currently he is consulting and travelling internationally as a Sports Physiotherapist on the ATP World Tennis Tour managing the world’s best players. Previously Andrew has worked in various roles and sports, including the High-Performance Manager at the Glenelg Football Club, the Head Physiotherapist at the Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball Club and Adelaide 36er’s Basketball Club, as well as holding travelling roles with Netball, Basketball and Tennis Australia.

    Andrew draws on his extensive experience in elite sport for a professional and high-performance approach to your management and rehabilitation.

  • Lauren Bendo

    Lauren Bendo

    Bachelor of Physiotherapy

    Lauren is a highly motivated and personable physiotherapist who has an emphasis on a hands on approach, whilst providing patients with the tools, education and support to reach their rehabilitation goals.

    Lauren has worked professionally in high performance sporting environments. She is currently the head physiotherapist for the Adelaide Thunderbirds and their elite pathways contributing to their exciting 2023 championship victory. She has previously worked with the Contax Netball club and National State Basketball Program.

    Passionate about promoting the well-being of female athletes, Lauren has developed a special interest in Women's Health. Her dedication extends to providing comprehensive care and guidance to women throughout every life stage, including pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, pelvic pain management and incontinence, particularly with the return to activity and in the sporting environment.

    Lauren leads several of our clinical exercise Pilates classes where she continues to challenge patients individually with progressive overload principles.

  • Sophie Sarah-Katnich

    Sophie Sarah-Katnich

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST
    Bachelor of Physiotherapy

    Sophie completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2022 at the University of South Australia. Since then, she has developed a strong passion for the management of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries, going on to complete her APA Sports Physio Level 1 course.

    She is currently working as one of the physiotherapists with the St Peter’s Old Collegians Football Club, assisting with sideline injuries and acute injury management as well as longer term rehabilitation and return to play.

    Sophie is also enthusiastic about clinical exercise and pilates and thoroughly enjoys using her skills here in the management of her patients. She takes many of our weekly classes and loves challenging clients while helping them to achieve their individual goals.

  • Lauren Pike

    Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons)

    Lauren has been working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the last 2 years after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2021 at the University of South Australia. She is enthusiastic about empowering her patients with a combination of education, treatment and exercise in order to restore them to the things they love doing.

    Lauren has a passion for working with athletic and active populations with an interest in sporting injuries and management. She has gained experience in this field through her roles as Head Physiotherapist for the U/18 and U/16 North Adelaide Football Club teams and as the Physiotherapist for the U/21 Women’s State Hockey team over the last 2 seasons. Lauren loves gaining more knowledge in this area and this year has completed her APA Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy course.

    She also has a keen interest in clinical exercise and pilates and the management of paediatric musculoskeletal conditions and young adults. Lauren loves forming meaningful connections with her patients and supporting them through their rehabilitation journey.

    of Exercise Science

    Daniel brings a wealth of experience from working in the professional and sub-elite sport setting. Having initially completed a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and working with the Adelaide 36ers as a Strength & Conditioning coach, he learned the vital importance of a supportive team during the rehab process.

    Driven by a genuine passion for helping athletes return to sport, and a deep curiosity about rehabilitation, Daniel went on to gain his Master’s in Physiotherapy.

    Daniel has a special interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and adolescent conditions. He believes in taking a holistic approach to treatment, ombining manual therapy and exercise as part of a tailored approach to helping those return to what they love, whether competitive sport or a run with friends on the weekend.

    Daniel is actively involved in sports physio, working as a physio at South Adelaide Football Club and with the State basketball team and his involvement in community sport earned him the 2022 SAMSA Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

    Claudia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2023 at the University of South Australia. She is an enthusiastic and passionate physiotherapist who adopts a holistic approach, integrating manual therapy and exercise to support individuals in reaching their fitness and rehabilitation goals.

    Claudia is passionate about working with athletic and active populations, with a keen interest in the prevention and management of sports injuries. She has gained this experience through previously working as the physiotherapist for the Glenelg’s Women's Development League team and the Contax Reserves Netball team.

    Claudia has a strong background in running gym-based classes and one-on-one sessions which sparked her passion for Pilates and clinical exercise. She integrates these methods into her practice to enhance strength and overall physical well-being.
